Denise was born in the Chicago area, attended the Chicago Art Institute where she studied art, and then transfered to the University of Denver for more training.
Her strong love for the American West has been a motivating factor in all her career moves which brought her to the town of Durango in Colorado.
In 1995, Denise designed and created a western gift store on Main Street in Durango, which became a popular stop for locals and tourist looking for authentic antiques, gifts, and fine jewelry handmade in the southwest. The store called "The West", florished for thirteen years. Then realizing she needed more diversity and flexibility in her life, Denise made a career change. She got her real estate licence and joined Keller-Williams.
Denise loves everything about Durango, good people, magnificent mountains, skiing, bike riding, hiking and an abundance of wildlife. It's her dream come true and feels lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
